McKinley, Charles, 1889-1970

Abstract Charles McKinley (1889-1970) taught political science at Reed from 1918 until his retirement in 1960, when Reed awarded him an honorary LL.D. degree. McKinley was very active outside of Reed; he taught as a visiting professor elsewhere, served as a consultant for many bodies and a member of many others for both Portland and the nation, and he wrote widely about political science.
