Chai's budget proposal identifies the purpose of the organization to "provide a cultural, education, and spiritual environment in which to foster an increased Jewish awareness on campus", to "raise consciousness of the campus as a whole", and to promote "more meaningful understanding of [Reedies'] own identities.
