Renn Fayre Ephemera, 1983 - 2019
Scope and Contents
The Renn Fayre Collection consists of papers and ephemera pertaining to the planning and execution of Renn Fayre starting in 1975. Documents include correspondence between the Renn Fayre planning committee and memos to the Reed community and the wider public. Logistical documents include insurance forms, permits, invoices and budgets. There are a variety of publications such as Renn Fayre editions of the Quest and several news articles reflecting on drug use at Renn Fayre (2010). Other documents include project proposal forms, event posters, and student projects. Ephemera consists of items such as wooden signs and artwork, collaborative notebooks, and a placard from the annual softball tournament (1983-1985), as well pins and wristbands from various years dating back to 1984.
