Biographical / Historical
This collection includes self-study and accreditation reports from as early as 1953, when Reed issued a self-study report on students, curriculum, and the state of the college. The first accreditation report in this collection dates to 1958, when the Higher Commission of the Northwest Association of Secondary and Higher Schools released a review of the college. Today, Reed College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and the American Chemical Society, which ensure that the schools meets standards.
