Biographical / Historical
Documents from suggest that security officers patrolled the Reed College campus as early as the 1970s, if not earlier. Today, Community Safety Officers patrol the campus, contact police/fire/medial teams if necessary, provide medical assistance, respond to reports of sexual assault, and operate the campus switchboard. On July 30th, 2007, Community Safety moved from Greywood to the 28 West Building, between Woodstock and Steele.
