Biographical / Historical
The Reed College Oral History Project (OHP) was created in 1998 in the anticipation of the celebration of Reed's Centennial celebration in 2011. The project involved "352 alumni and 45 professors, administrators, and staff... and held 46 storytelling sessions" ("Behind the Scenes", Reed Magazine June 2012). The interviews provided the basis for John Sheehy's book, "Comrades of the Quest", a history of Reed College published by Oregon State University Press. The Oral History Project continued after the centennial celebration to record interviews with alumni and faculty of Reed College.
