The Reed College Record includes special issues of the course catalog, summer extension course listings, and studies or reports.

William Trufant Foster, the first President of Reed College, was a strong supporter of reforming the spelling of the English language, and simplified spelling was employed in many of the early issues of the Record.

Followed by "Reed College Bulletin", "Reed Magazine".
